I bought this to use as a non-summer bedspread for my full-sized mattress. Unlike previous throws I've used, the underside of this one is not too soft or smooth, so it does not slide around my thin blanket or off my bed while I am sleeping. It is also a little heavier than what I'm used to, but my other throws were not woven products. Although it cost more than I planned to spend, the pattern and color scheme fit so well in my bedroom that I thought I'd splurge. Great decision on my part. The high quality workmanship does not show up in the Amazon pictures like it does when you're holding this in your hands. It was well worth what I paid.
